Week 17

Went for my doctor appt ytd but as the scanner was not clear, we cld not know the gender of the babies ... a cute thing happen to the elder twin - one hand was raised which looks like either waving to dear hubby or almost combing it hair .. even Doctor Yong was tickled by the baby reaction ...

Both the babies are active and growing well even though T1 is more active than T2. It is also T1 which did the wave lookalike .... I'm always looking forward to the scans as that is the only way of us monitoring their growth and latest development ...

Would be doing the detailed scan end of April and hopefully by then we cld know the gender of the babies :)

Just got new that the mother fair would be held on 3-6 June and since it coincide with SIL wedding, we decided to have a fast look and book whatever is necessary ...

Luckily dear hubby friend had the contact for the strollers so we would be getting the stroller from the wholesalers and hopefully we cld get the maclaren ... will still need to psycho dear hubby on getting the twins stroller .....

Week 16 of pregnancy

Wah, it has been a long time since my last post :)

2010 has been a joyous start for both DH and myself .. since 30 Dec 2009 (week 4 of pregnancy) after getting the positive result, we had been on cloud 9 ..... DH has been lavishing endless attention and love to the babies and myself ... I started the pregnancy well but MS appear at week 6 of pregnancy ...I was feeling nauseu in the morning and was feeling tired and lethargic all the way .. it was a struggle waking up every morning to come to work, luckily with DH motivation, I hang in there and ...

Week 6 scan shows 2 sacs and 2 heartbeats .. i was over the moon as did not expect to be having twins ... the parents was informed and they was happy for us... Mother was cool about it but Mak was constanly worried about the babies .... Bth Abah n Bapak was hapy but Bapak was constantly reminding me to be extra carefull and take things slow :)

I was hospitalised for observation at week 9 as my right ovaries was still swollen and the younger twin was on top of my ovary... it all started on the night b4, the cramps was horrendous and the next morning as I cld not take it any longer, I pluck up the courage to go to the hospital ... Doctor Yong was on delivery and the wait time for her was terrible .. the scan show the swollen ovary and she requested me to stay for observation and I was admitted to Ward 52 (maternity ward) .. DH was given half day and was commuting btw hospital and work to be with me ... only Mak was informed and she was worried for us .. I was crying as Doctor Yong had mention that if the pain did not subside, she would have to operate me to find the actual cause and the risk of losing the babies was high.. I was constantly talking to them to help me and was praying hard the pain wld subside and thankfully it did :) I was discharge after a night at the hospital but Doctor Yong had assured me if the pain come again then she wld have to perform emergency operation on me .... was on HL for 10days and really took tons and tons of rest :)

The days passed slowly and I reached trimester 2 ... the nauseu has reduced drastically and I cld eat more .. I had only gain 1kg so far and despite being 4mths preggy, my stomach does not show much ...

We went to the baby fair last saturday and bought some stuffs ... I bought the bottles steriliser and the automatic/manual breast pump ...we had also order the baby cot and playpen for the babies .. we wld only be getting the remaining stuffs during the June mother fair as hopefully by then we wld know the gender of the babies :)

We had also tailor the customised outfits for Achumon wedding and we did some furniture shopping there too ...

Another doctor visit this coming Monday and hopefully we cld have some signs of the gender of the babies :)
